Hello fellow avid readers! It’s time for me to take a little break from the reading world and get to know some of my actual life experiences.
SPRING BREAK STARTED!
Bonjour dear friends! SPRING BREAK STARTED! I finally get a break from school, school studies, my enemies, annual day practice, scoldings, tiring basketball practice (even though I love it) and fights and…
Yeah… I think I need to breathe. Anyway I’m not here to tell you that, I’m here to tell you about my Wankhede 1 day trip!
To be honest I didn’t think much about it, I mean who would? Visiting a stadium and museum under a hot blazing sun in the summer isn’t any fun. So you can imagine what a relief it was for me when I found out the museum was air conditioned. I am a
big fan at watching cricket not playing it and finally got to answer all my curiosity bubbling up my head. There were replica dressing rooms, old trophies, memories and the history of many famous cricket players. Here’s a little story that shall make your blood flow in the opposite direction.
Many years ago there was a family gang of 25 people going to see a big match of India in Wankhede. Unfortunately they only got 24 tickets. The youngest who was 10 years old had been SNEAKED IN due to the lack of security and that guy today is …….. apps! No spoilers!
After the stadium tour we all rushed to the stadium with our guide. Hands full of electric fans, he took us to different stands and something that was not allowed for any citizen… THE NEAREST CORNER TO THE PITCH!
And I finally got to visit my dream stand — the president box! So for all the cricket fans out there, without this your life might just remain incomplete. So I hope right now you have already started checking tickets for the next match!!!
THANK YOU!
